Secly Lamorlaye Racing Stable
Confidential price
Located in Lamorlaye, just a stone’s throw from Chantilly – the historic city of the horse – this racing stable extends over a two-hectare site in a peaceful, tree-lined environment. Designed in the 1970s, the “courtyard” was conceived to provide comfort and well-being for both the horses that reside there and the people who work there..
The stable was built starting in 1968 using high-quality materials such as Vaugirard bricks and Angers slate. It has been carefully maintained and remains fully functional today. The barns, bright and airy thanks to an impressive ceiling height, offer healthy, spacious, and comfortable stalls. The indoor temperature stays mild and constant, in both summer and winter.
Potential
As the site is not entirely occupied by buildings, there is potential to construct new barns or develop other facilities.

The epic journey of the Quick Star Stable
In 1968, the renowned trainer Bernard Secly set his sights on a two-hectare site located on the edge of the forest in Lamorlaye. With ingenuity, he designed and initiated the construction of several American-style barns, showing himself to be ahead of his time.
Within this remarkable site, he built an exceptional career, training top-level thoroughbreds and leaving a lasting mark on the world of steeplechase racing for several decades. He notably shaped some of the greatest champions such as Katko, Al Capone II, Cadoudal, Kadalko, and El Paso III. Legendary for his numerous Group 1 victories on both flat and jumps racing, and for his records in Group 1 races at Auteuil, Bernard Secly made a significant impact on French racing history as well as breeding, to which he contributed extensively by offering expert advice to his clients.
